What happens during a call?
I use the GROW method where we explore your Career blocker, a specific issue or a strategy. I ask you lots of probing and masterful questions to stretch your thinking and explore about the options bringing you to take ownership and control of the action steps (Way Forward).

What is the GROW model?
GROW stands for Goal, Reality (check), Options, Way forward. This is the most widely used coaching model today.

What happens between calls?
You get a takeaway with each session and a set of actions to do before your next call that align with your goal

Why are bookings of 30 minutes preferred?
They are more effective as we stick to your agenda for that call and most people are time restricted so it accomodates the busiest of us all.

Why are calls conducted on Skype or Mobile?
Calls are more effective as there are no visual distractions, you can do these wherever you want.  As a customer you can have your notes in front of you (& take notes) without having to maintain eye contact etc and you will gain greater value.

How often are appointments?
Most prefer weekly as it gives you a chance to research, explore and action (your homework) in sufficient time.

What if I cannot make an appointment?
You can give me 24hrs notice to cancel and reschedule. You may not get the same time the next day or so but we can work through this together.

What is the difference between mentoring and coaching?
Mentoring is where someone works with you together on a topic or issue and work out the best way together to address it. The Mentor is an experienced practitioner in that field and shares their specific expertise and experiences and offers advice. Mentoring is a long term relationship.

Coaching is about you exploring, stretching and being accountable for your work or goals.  You clarify where you are right now and where you want to be.  Coaching is a partnership where thought provoking, future focused and solution oriented concepts get to your results/goals faster by working with a coach.  You map out the road to get to your goals. The coach will provide you with resources to help you on your journey (where gaps may exist), make connections with people when and where appropriate who can offer other insights and professional support.

I am curious how it works, can I get a sample of coaching?
Yes you can book a FREE initial call (in the Booking section) where you can ask questions and then we do a coaching specific call on any topic related to my coaching services.
